My MLM "Quit Date"

If you have followed my last three days' of blogging; then you know by now, that I advocate setting a "Quit Date" for your personal MLM business.

You need to conduct business consistently or you need to go ahead and quit.

Well, there's no way I can write such a series of articles and then leave you hanging, without announcing my OWN "Quit Date"; and so, this is my announcement.

August 31, 2006 will be my last full day as a Quixtar Independent Business Owner, if I am not in the qualification process as a "Platinum IBO" as defined by the Independent Business Ownership Plan in the Quixtar Business Compendium.

So, if you are one of those people that like to remind a person of something they said in the past; and you feel like you may need to remind me of this statement; this will be your opportunity to save this entry and make a note on your calendar for next year.

Whoa Dave. That means that you will have to hit 7500 PV in March of '06, right and hold it for 6 months.

I wish you the best of luck.

Technically, Ty, that would mean I completed the Platinum qualification process. And that would be an "ideal" scenario.

Sorry about the deleted comment. I see now that you said Platinum qualification. An ambitious goal, but one that I'm sure you can attain. I look forward to writing and podcasting about your succcess.

Thanks Ty,

And I want folks to understand, that this is not some sort of back pedaling on my part, and I'm not saying you even had that in mind, I know you didn't.

Going Platinum is an ambitious goal for anyone. I took my own advice in the articles I wrote on "quitting" and analyzed my own situation carefully, and I looked at many factors before I set my "quit date".

By holding to a goal of "qualification" I hope to ensure that I won't be one of those IBOs that achieve a pin level and fall immediately out of qualification.

As you are aware, a first time Platinum Qualifier can qualify during a fiscal year-to-year transition. My quit date has this fiscal year transition in mind.

Thanks for the encouragement, much appreciated.

Dave

Hi Dave,
Today is October 17, 2006.
Wanted to know if you acheived the Platinum Level by Aug 31 2006.
FYI - My quit date is today and I am quitting.
Thanks.

Howdy Anon,

I did not achieve my goal as planned and I did blog about it and informed my readers of my dissapointment, the week of the Quit Date.

I did reconsider quitting.

Good luck to you in the future at whatever you decide to do.

Dave
